About Us
Founded in 1998, our company established its first manufacturing facility in İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone (IOSB) in 2006, by transferring the knowledge, skills and experience it gained by manufacturing and supplying to the private sector and the public institutions in different sectors to the defense industry. Our company, which focuses on the manufacturing of heavy and light ammunition products for the defense industry with its hi-tech machinery, experienced manufacturing and quality control teams, specializes in the manufacturing of ammunitions complementary parts of aircrafts, tanks, cannons, mortars, and machine guns.

Our company continued its manufacturing adventure by establishing its second production facility in Kırıkkale Organized Industrial Zone (KOSB) in 2013 and by implementing its new manufacturing lines in Istanbul in 2018. On the other hand it also took its place in Kırıkkale University Technopark in order to develop its R&D activities.
Our company, which is currently the supplier of many companies and institutions at home and abroad, exports to sixteen different countries from three continents.
Our company is happy and proud to contribute to the development of the defense industry sector in our country with its strong R&D team, talented design staff and qualified collaborations with academic circles, and to lead in its field with the courage and vision to break new ground.
The message of the president
On the way we set out with the mission of developing and making the modern defense industry sustainable, our company, with what it has accomplished since its establishment; It has achieved significant success in fulfilling its mission.
Our company, which specializes in producing aircraft bombs, mortars, tank and cannon ammunition, automatic cannons and rifles ammunition group complementary parts, has a privileged place in Turkey and in the world with its product group diversity. Our aim is to contribute to the defense industries of our country and allied countries as a global company with its quality and production technologies in its own group.
Our company, which currently produces in a total of 4.500 m2 closed and 10.000 m2 open area, and also develops its R&D activities in the TeknoPark Office in Kırıkkale University, plans to operate in 20.000 m2 open and 15.000 m2 closed area in the next 5 years. With targeted investments, our 100 engineers and production staff will exceed 180 people.
As KARMETAL, we will run to new targets, continue our investments and continue to create added value for our country's economy. We aim to grow by increasing our domestic and foreign exports with our products that we produce with advanced technology. In this sense, we enlarge our production park, evaluate international cooperation opportunities, and implement our plans within the framework of our vision of becoming a global player.

KARMETAL has one mission, which is to develop the defense industry.

KARMETAL, which produces blockbusters, howitzers, tanks, ammunition, supplementary parts of automatic guns and rifles, provides the widest range of products in Turkey and the whole world. Our goal is to use modern production technologies and highest quality to come up with products that add value in the defense industry.
KARMETAL has become an expert in the supplementary parts of ammunition. Currently, KARMETAL has a total production area of 4,500 m2 and 10,000 m2 open area. In addition, we made an investment plan that will operate an open area of 20,000 m2 and a closed area of 10,000 m2. In Total, we have over 100 employees working within the scope of KARMETAL, but when we complete the investment plan, this number will increase to over 180. Additionally, we continue to conduct our R&D activities and product development projects at our TechnoPark Office located at Kirikkale University.
Within this scope, as KARMETAL, we will maintain our new investments and create added value for our country's economy. In addition to growing in the domestic market, we planned to enhance our growth in the foreign market by increasing the export operations. By developing our production lines, we utilize the opportunities like international collaborations and put our plans in action with the vision of becoming a global player.
Our goal is to use this position to set our country in a higher place using the best possible ways, as we move towards our goals stoutly and steadily. Within the frame of our values such as reliability, innovation, customer volume and collaboration with our suppliers, we will give our best in order to make the best contribution to our colleagues, customers and countries also in the future as we used to in the past .
We, as KARMETAL, continue our feasibility studies about the investment of autonomous, robotic and electronic systems in our short and medium term plans. Besides, we will be proud of introducing the investment of new projects that will direct the Defense Industry in the near future.

Production and R & D
Our company, with its advanced technology machinery park, experienced production and quality control team, produces in the ammunition group in the production process of products for the defense industry.
